New Milton Town got back to winning ways on Saturday with a convincing win over Totton and Eling in Wessex Division One action. New Milton who started the season strongly had dropped off in the last few games but revitalised their early season with this victory.
The game started quickly as New Milton dominated possession but it wasn’t until Ollie a Peckham delivered an expert cross field ball for Steve Flynn to place into the bottom corner that the nerves were put to rest.
Minutes later Mickey Finch delivered a perfect corner to the near post for Flynn to fire home with his head. Another Finch corner caused chaos and Harry Jeffries was bundled over inside the box and Flynn slotted home from the spot to complete his hatrick.
He wasn’t done though as early in the second half his quick footwork earned him a trip in the box and he slotted low and hard again to secure the points. New Milton could of had more goals with Aspin, Barber, Molynuex and Louka all guilty of being wasteful in front of goal.
