New Milton Town Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of experienced midfielder Jason Brookes. The former Dorchester Town player has officially joined the club today and will be available for selection this Saturday afternoon.
Matt Maybury said a few words about his new player.
"We’ve got a few little niggles at the moment and when I found out that Brooksey was available, it was a no brainer.
His experience will be really valuable for us as we head into the last 9 games."
Jason Brookes brings a wealth of experience to the Brickmakers, having played for several well-established clubs in non-league football. He began his career at Lymington Town, where he developed as a dynamic midfielder before moving on to AFC Totton, where he gained valuable experience in a competitive squad.
His time at Bashley, which followed Totton, saw him play a crucial role in midfield before he moved on to Wimborne Town, where he continued to refine his game at a higher level. He then signed for Dorchester, becoming a key figure over a number of years.
More recently, Jason Brookes has been associated with Eastleigh, primarily in a coaching capacity. He has served as a manager within the Eastleigh Academy, providing leadership and guidance to the club's youth teams.
Across these clubs, he has built a strong reputation for his work ethic, a quality that will make him an important addition as we see out the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
He could make his debut as early as Saturday when we take on Aldermaston at the M.A. Hart Stadium. We look forward to seeing him in New Milton Town colours.
