New Milton Town returns to home soil for the first time in exactly a month as they take on 12th-place AFC Aldermaston on Saturday afternoon at 3 pm. The game will see the club's first 'bring your dog' day at the M.A. Hart Stadium in an attempt to get your furry friends along for the sunshine. Water bowls will, of course, be provided.
The Brickmakers tasted defeat for the first time in 22 games last weekend after a 4-1 defeat at Romsey Town, and manager Matt Maybury will be hoping for a positive response.
He said the following ahead of the fixture.
"‘This weekend is all about bouncing back. We were miles off it against Romsey and that’s the first time I’ve really had that criticism of the lads this year. It’s important now that we show a reaction against Aldermaston this weekend and put on a performance."
You can read more from Matt in tomorrow's Matchday Programme.
The weekend's fixture will be one of four remaining home games this season.
LEAGUE FORM GUIDE / WESSEX LEAGUE DIV.1
Unfortunately, Full Time FA is unavailable at the time of writing, so no form guide can be provided. However, the travelling team were victorious last weekend as they defeated Lymington Town 2-0 at home with goals from Padraig Gorman and Jordan Sykes.
LAST TIME / ALDERMASTON 0-2 NEW MILTON
Two goals from Barney Stone led the Brickmakers to a 2-0 win when the two sides met earlier on this season. You can read all about that fixture by clicking here.
